The Holiday Edit

I have such a love for the holidays! There must be something in the air that gets me past the capacity filled malls and ridiculously long checkout lines. Maybe its the smell of warm spices in the air or the layering of clothes that feel like a continuous warm hug. Whatever it is, it has fueled a spirit in me this year that seems extra jolly. I've put together four looks inspired by the holidays coming up soon as well as similar pieces to find. Enjoy!

Corduroy & Cashmere

Last week, I took a small adventure with some friends through the woods (not as creepy as it sounds). Of course I didn't wander through the woods with my heels. When the time was right, I opted for a pair of Uggs. I found this really cool black corduroy zip up dress in Forever 21 and the oversized Polo sweater underneath is a hand-me-down from my father. Fall on the Brain

Hello Loves! All summer I found myself imagining outfits for the fall. Its always been easier for me to think in layers because with each layer added comes more detail and interest. My favorite month of the year if finally here and the weather couldn't have been more representative of its beauty than it was today. The perfect mix of warmth and cold make for great outfits built around the layer principle. Time for pumpkin spice everything! The denim choker was DIY, of course.
