Hello! My name is McKenzie. I am a teenage girl who loves writing and photography. I also happen to love fashion. For as long as I can remember, I have been quite particular about what I wear. I believe it is an art form that is just as expressive as painting or drawing. It is wearable art. Fashion photographer Bill Cunningham once said, “Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life. I don’t think you could do away with it. It would be like doing away with civilization.” Fashion gives us both structure and abstract. It tells a story without a person having speak a word. I could not imagine life without fashion. It is my art. It gives me a unique voice among this indistinguishable world. My style is a bit undefined. One minute I may draw inspiration from the 90's high waisted baggy jeans and crop top phase, and the next I'll be into minimal and sleek. My style varies (hence the blog name) and serves as proof that style doesn't have to be just one thing or defined by one word, but can be many things. Threads May Vary is my creative outlet and here I hope to create and inspire in others what those before inspired in me.
